The COBA Africa team assisted Loftus Versveld Stadium with a brand-new logo mat runner for the tunnel as they run out onto the field.
Loftus, as it is known by the locals, is one of the main stadiums in South Africa, home to Super Rugby franchise the Bulls and Currie Cup side Blue Bulls. The South Africa national rugby union team has played several test matches at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
The Blue Bulls is the first team ever to win the Currie Cup twice in one year. The competition was won by the Blue Bulls, who beat the Sharks 26–19 after extra time in the final played at Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria on 30 January 2021. Traditionally played in winter, the Currie Cup began later than usual in the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and extended into the summer of Jan 2021, winning it again the same year on the 1 September 2021 beating the Sharks again with the biggest margin ever in a final. Bulls 44-10 Sharks.
